RACEX® Ejecting

The new RACEX® product line exhibits the same quarter-turn locking action and vibration tolerance as all of the rest of the DFCI products. These products are compatible with existing ST-1200 Line 1219-A5 and 1224-945 Receptacles and with the SU-2300 Line 2500-18 Receptacle. The performance of the RACEX® product is comparable with the ST-1200 Line's 1258-F products. The replacement of the housing in the 1258-F product with the collar in the RACEX® Ejecting product produces a clean appearance. In addition, the installation is simplified by requiring only one hole in the panel as compared with the three holes required for the 1258-F product.

Installation consists of:

1. drilling the appropriate size hole,
2. inserting the collar into the hole, and
3. installing the retaining ring.

The retaining ring is installed using a pair of conventional snap-ring pliers, no special tools are required.

The RACEX® Ejecting product has a low profile of approximately .030" (0.8 mm).

D is the diameter of the collar. D: .750 (19.0 mm) B represents the part of the collar that is used for retention. This, combined with the retainer thickness determines the maximum panel thickness for the collar. B   in mm 1 .135 3.4 2 .195 5.0 3 .235 6.0 Retainer: .035 (.9 mm) G Represents the Grip Length. This varies from .400" (10.2 mm) to .850" (21.6 mm)  in increments of .050" (1.3 mm).

Using the ST-1200 Line 1219-A5 Receptacle

Using the SU-2300 Line 2500-18 or 2500-18F Receptacle

Note: The gaps in the Material Thickness supported with the SU-2300 Line Receptacles can be filled in with the addition of a .020" (.5 mm) spacer between the receptacle and the support.
